The Diploma in Accountancy is designed to prepare you for a rewarding career in accounting, business and finance.

Accounting or accountancy is often called the "language of business". It involves the measurement, processing and communication of financial information about economic entities. Accountants will develop skills to measure the results of an organization's economic activities and convey this information to a variety of users including investors, creditors, management and regulators.

This Diploma exposes students to key accounting, management and finance areas of economic entities through a variety of core subjects within the syllabus. Assignments and tutorials throughout the programme are used to develop student's practical accounting and communication skills, and finance decision-making capabilities.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
SPM / O-Level 3 credits (grade C or above including Mathematics) and a pass in English.
UEC 3 credits (grade B or above including Mathematics) and a pass in English.
IPTA/IPTS Certificate Pass with CGPA 2.00 or above in relevant field.

Career Prospects

Students who complete our Diploma in Accountancy can work as support staff in accounting, finance and management in the private sectors, public sector, public accounting firms and consultancy firms.

Further Studies

Successful completion of the Diploma in Accountancy will allow you entry into the 2nd year Degree programmes leading to the award of a UK Degree offered by colleges/universities in Malaysia*.
