Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)

The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) is a technician-level qualification designed by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to allow you to support the work of professional accountants and as a pathway into the ACCA programme with 3 papers exemptions.
The CAT qualification is the highest qualification among the Foundation level-qualifications - collectively referred to as Foundations in Accountancy.

|SPM / O-Level||5 credits (grade C or above), including Mathematics and a pass in English.|
|UEC||5 credits (grade B or above), including Mathematics and a pass in English.|

Students are also required to take Compulsory subjects as required by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
Students who completed the Certified Accounting Technician programme will have foundations in both financial and management accounting skills. This will allow you to move between roles, industries and sectors as support staff with accounting, finance and management responsibilities.
